Napoleon at War is an excellent ruleset with a lot of potential. It is similar to Flames of War in that it has 2 primary unit characteristics that determine what you need to roll in order to succeed at certain actions. There is a lot more freedom than some traditional Napoleonic rules systems and it produces one of the best points based army selection systems I have seen so far for Napoleonics. I am a great believer in this game and it has an active community that I really recommend joining to learn more about the rules: http://www.manatwar.es/?page_id=4/
So far Man at War have produced a 5 star product but new releases are currently slow (Q4 of 2012) and my 4 star review is due this slow release schedule making a lot of players worry about how long it will be until their favourite army or period is covered. So far the rules cover France, Britain, Prussia, Russia and Austria in 1813-1814 and the First Campaign Book - The 100 Days - covers the Allies, Prussia and France during the Waterloo Campaign of 1815.
The Company are based in Spain and they are suffering due to the current economic downturn in the Country. However, with a further set of miniature releases scheduled for early 2013 things may start to speed up as this system''s support grows. I already know 2 UK Clubs which regularly play the system and I have heard nothing but positives from both and I am currently painting up my own French and Allied Divisions for the Waterloo Campaign.
Overall, highly recommended but I will continue to push them for further releases...
